Popis:	This article identifies and systemizes the ways of power supply for metal-cutting machines that were used at Ukrainian machine-building enterprises from the end of the 19th century to 1917.The ways and causes of their appearance are analyzed and determined according to the aspect of industrialization processes development in the country. The influence of the methods of metal cutting tools power supply on the crises phenomena formation in Ukrainian industry and society at the end of the First World War is estimated.
