Popis: | This paper reports on high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and optical diffractograms that have revealed that chemically vapor deposited films of superconducting YBa{sub 2}Cu{sub 3}O{sub x} react to form an interaction layer with single-crystal yttria-stabilized zirconia. The approximately 5 nm thick interlayer was identified as BaZrO{sub 3}. Zirconium was also found to diffuse through the entire YBa{sub 2}Cu{sub 3}O{sub x} film. |
