Popis: A neutron monitor has been constructed which uses the activation of rhodium by thermal neutrons. A rhodium disk is rotating between the neutron beam and proportional counters. The gamma background is subtracted automatically. A neutron flux of 10 5 n/cm 2 s can be measured with a relative precision of 10 −3 in the presence of a gamma flux of about 10 7 γ/cm 2 s.
