Popis:	Communication is done of an open safety-pin in the oesophagus of a baby of five months, which turned spontaneously in the stomach under Rontgen control to come back probably in the oesophagus with a ructus upon which the pin could be removed without difficulty. With this the case formerly described of an open safety-pin, which, with the point below, had pierced the oesophagus and had occasioned a vertebral affection, is explained aetiologically.
