Popis: | A series of group V transition-metal (trimethylsily)imido compounds has been synthesized in which the NSiMe 3 groups derive from hexamethyldisilazane. Reaction of MCl 5 with 2 equiv of NH(SiMe 3 ) 2 produces [M(NSiMe 3 )Cl 3 (NH 2 SiMe 3 )] 2 (M=Nb, Ta). Pyridine and substituted pyridine adducts, M(NSiMe 3 )Cl 3 L 2 (M=Nb, L=py, 4-Mepy, or 1/2 4,4'-Me 2 bpy; M=Ta, L=py), are prepared |
