Effect of fluorine on the generation of Y2BaCuO5 particles in YBa2Cu3Ox superconductors

Popis: | An experimental study is carried out to clarify the effect of fluorine on the generation of Y 2 BaCuO 5 particles in the fluorine-doped YBa 2 CU 3 O x superconductors. The fluorine in the sample exists as BaF 2 which has a fostering effect on Y 2 BaCuO 5 particles in YBa 2 Cu 3 O x superconductors. The Y 2 BaCu0 5 particles in fluorine-doped YBa 2 Cu 3 O x superconductors are produced by decomposition of BaF 2 , the fluorine being lost in the atmosphere. The diffraction peaks of BaF 2 after cooling to 800°C do not appear in the X-ray measurement. The quantitative analysis shows that the percentage of fluorine increases with increase of temperature above 900°C. |
