3-μm Q-switch operation assisted by cascade lasing at 1.6 and 1.7 μm in Er-doped YLF

Popis:	We studied Q-switching at the 3 μm, assisted by CW lasing at the 1.7 μm and the gain-switched cascade lasing at the 1.6 μm. The former increases pulse energy, the latter allows increasing pulse frequency.
