Popis:	A preparation of pastinacin has been separated by preparative chromatography on acidic alumina into three isomeric monomethylfurocoumarin components, bergaptene, sphondin, and xanthotoxin. Their ratio in the preparation was 6.5:2.5:1.0. The angelicin derivative sphondin has been found in the fruit of the parsnip for the first time.
