Popis: A reverse torsion pendulum is described, connected with the “Iskra-1256” computer. The apparatus is suited for measuring the characteristics of viscoelastic behaviour of materials at 77–500 K. From the results of measurement in the glass-transition range, the parameters of the model of a standard linear viscoelastic solid and the activation energy of the glass-transition process can be determined. Temperature control, collection and treatment of accumulating information are performed by the computer in a programmed regime.
