This experiment will study the role that Emotional Intelligence and Internet Expressivity Efficiency play in the meta accuracy of the first impressions we form through Internet communication. In addition, we will check whether the meta perception of first impressions on the internet operates along the universal dimensions of social cognition (warmth and competence), outlined by Fiske et al. (2007) and whether first impressions meta accuracy varies with the type of expressive means (i.e., text vs. images). |
