Popis:	Koponobryum papillosum Printarakul & Chantanaorr., sp. nov., is described as a second species of the genus found in Chiang Mai and Lamphun Provinces, northern Thailand. It is distinguished from K. bengalense (Gangulee) Arts by autoicous plants, papillose spores and axillary hairs consisting of one short basal cell and 1-4(5) longer upper cells. A taxonomic description, illustrations and SEM micrographs are presented.
