Popis: | We propose and verify the sliding failure mode in the passive zone of a foundation pit with skirt reinforcement using numerical experiments. Calculation of the passive earth pressure is based on the equilibrium condition of limited earth pressure. The advantage of this approach is that the stability of the support structure can be calculated using the shear strength parameters of undisturbed soil without these parameters for the soilcement. We discuss the passive earth pressure of foundation pits with reinforcement mass of finite width, in addition to different arrangements of the same volume and different shape. For specific projects, factors such as deformation control and project cost should also be taken into account when deciding the type of reinforcement mass form that should be used, in addition to meeting the stability requirements. |
