Popis:	The cathedral complexes of the ecclesistical province of Vienne present different physiognomies. The religious buildings, cathedrals and baptistries, hard to restitute because of poor and rare sources, present as well different faces which often reflect the provincial hierarchy. The same conclusion could perhaps be formulated for the bishops houses but the very poor documentation does not allow any hypothesis in this matter. The evolution of the function and the organisation of the cathedral complexes from the 9th century, as well of the relative chronology of the reborn of cathedral reconstructions, reveal a important difference between west and east of the province.
