Adaptive Observer-Estimator Design for a Class of Nonlinear Systems

Popis: The on-line observation of the non-measured states and the on-line estimation of the unknown parameters of the process from input-output data are two interactive aspects to identify the process. In this paper, an adaptive nonlinear joint observer estimator form is introduced for a class of nonlinear systems of the form dX/dt = A(X,θ)X+g(X)u. The estimation error system is obtained by an extended linearization technique using Kronecker's calculation methods. On the basis of this uniform error system, the observer design and the estimator design are investigated.
