Popis: Considering the benefits of some microelements in mineral waters for human health, the main aim of this paper is to classify 12 mineral waters in the Romanian Transylvania region according to the concentration of some microelements. A cluster analysis was conducted based on k-means method for the 12 samples of mineral waters containing Aluminum (Al), Molybdenum (Mo), Nickel (Ni), Titanium (Ti), Chromium (Cr), Antimony (Sb). There are significant differences between mineral waters regarding the concentration of Al and Sb. Two types of clusters were identified in case of Mo, Ni, Ti, and Cr, corresponding to mineral waters having lower concentration of these microelements and mineral waters with higher concentration of these minerals. Mineral waters with higher content of Mo, Ni, Sb and Cr are beneficial for human health.
