The process of assessing the dynamics of cognitive activity based on the characteristics of the EEG is described. As signs reflecting the level of cognitive activity, estimates of the density of trajectories of the projection of the phase portrait in the vicinity of the origin were used. Six pairs of leads (Cz-A2 and C4-A2; Pz-A1 and P3-A1; P4-A2 and P3-A1; C3-A1 and C4-A2; O1-A1 and O2-A2; Pz-A1 and O1-A1) in which there is a significant change in these characteristics in the process of cognitive activity were identified. Experiments are described. The level of cognitive activity was assessed before and after emotion stimulation of various durations (5 and 10 min). The results show an improvement in the indicators of cognitive activity during the process of sequential emotion stimulation. The average density of trajectories increases after the stimulation. Also, the total time for completing tasks and the number of errors decrease. These indicators improve when stimulation time increases. |
