Popis: | Clinical and radiological evaluations were carried out in patients treated with the Sauve-Kapandji procedure for distal radio-ulnar joint disorders. There were sixteen cases, eight with post-traumatic problems, five of rheumatoid arthritis, two of Madelung's deformity and one non-union after a shortening operation of the ulna. Most cases achieved excellent results, although some complained of slight pain at the proximal ulnar stump during physical work. There was no relationship between the clinical results and the site of bone resection because each case had variable bone resection sites. |
