Popis:	Differential thermal analysis has been applied to several silicone polymers and compounds with the use of oxidative conditions. The model compounds gave melting points corresponding to literature values. However, volatilization gave a broad endotherm much lower than extrapolated boiling points. The order, in oxidative resistance, was dimethyl silicone oil, silphenylene, methyl phenyl silicone oil.
