Popis:	A nonlinear constrained optimization problem can be obtained from an ELD problem with both equality and inequality constraints. A substitution of FPA to solve ELD problem with cost function normally non smooth in power systems is discussed in this paper. Comparison of results are done in order to validated the proposed algorithm.
