Popis: | A printed dual band T-shaped and L-shaped monopole antenna is proposed. The two monopoles in the structure generate two separate resonant frequencies for the desired 2.4/5.2 GHz dual-band operation in WLAN applications. The proposed antenna was designed to meet the 2.4/5.2 GHz band requirements occupying small volume and achieving minimum mutual coupling between the two monopole antennas. Bandwidths of 520 MHz (20.8%) centered at 2.49 GHz and 2.753 GHz (51.2%) centered at 5.3676 GHz were obtained for the proposed antenna. Good omnidirectional radiation in the azimuthal plane was obtained and the simulated maximum antenna gains at 2.4 GHz and 5.2 GHz are about 2.99 and 3.11 dB respectively. |
