Popis: | Anodic dissolution of a combined iron–titanium anode in a halide-containing electrolyte was studied by galvanostatic, potentiostatic, and gravimetric methods. The rate of the anodic dissolution of the iron and titanium constituents of the combined anode can be controlled by varying the concentrations of the electrolyte components, the anodic current density, and the ratio of the metal surface areas. The phase and elemental composition of the product, its surface morphology, and particle shape were examined by X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy. |
