Frequency response analysis applied in potential transformers and theirs implications in the electrical power system

Popis: Face to the growing of photovoltaic energy in Brazil, it is noted, in parallel, the insert of equipment used to conversion of the photovoltaic energy generation based in components come from power electronics. Therefore, bring with them the nonlinear characteristics consequently occasion harmonics components injection in the electrical power systems. Thus, this fact cause worried to regulators and consumers due to the drop in quality. In this context, the potential transformers are used to measure the voltage level in bars on photovoltaics systems and wind farms. Then, errors related in measurements harmonics frequencies appears, especially when high frequencies are presents. Hence, is necessary apply the Frequency Analyses Response (FRA) in search curve of the transducer. This work present the methodology of tests in potential transformers about FRA method, trying to minimize errors of interpretation of the values of harmonic distortion.
