Popis: Recent developments in electronics make to generate a huge amount of electronic waste. There are several physical and chemical methods to recycle metals from e-waste. Usage of biobased technologies to recover the metals from electronic waste is a significant growing research area for environmental remedy. However, existing chemical methods are cost-effective and have environmental disadvantages. To make attention of biobased eco-friendly methods toward metals recovery were discovered and these metals can reuse efficiently. Hence, this book chapter begins with an introduction to waste from electronics and electrical equipment, modeling and simulation studies regarding physical and chemical methods, and alternative technologies for biobased metals recovery, principles, and mechanisms followed by current trends with future prospective.
