Popis:	A case of spinal cord injury in a 16-year-old girl that was caused by stab wound is reported. She was admitted to the emergency department one day after being stabbed. When admitted she was conscious but was experiencing weakness in the lower limbs. The knife had penetrated through the left lamina to the right vertebral body at Th8. Treatment was conservative, and very good functional recovery was achieved.
