Popis: 96% of unaccompanied refugee minors (URM) in Norway has experienced at least one traumatic incident. URMs also report higher emotional difficulties compared to other youths in Norway. Previous findings have indicted that URMs report fewer protective factors compared to other youths. The aim of this article is to analyze the group differences on a deeper level. How big are the differences, if any? Are there any underlying differences for example when looking at items? In general, resilience and protective factors in URMs are highly under-investigated, still there are some protective factors within the lives of URMs that have been shown to allow them to adapt and even thrive in a vastly different cultural environment despite exposure to multiple risks. These protective factors include amongst others being male, younger age, social support and a supportive living situation.
