In this work, the processes of double-sided friction welding with mixing of thick sheets of aluminum alloy 1565chm were investigated. In the course of the work, such equipment as the Matec 40P multifunctional metalworking center, an optical microscope, the Zwick/Roell ZHU microhardometer, as well as the Zwick/Roell Z100 universal mechanical testing machine were used. Friction stir welding modes were tested and the optimal mode was selected by visual assessment. The results of studies carried out earlier on a similar topic are described and studied. The paper describes the methods used in the course of the study, the materials studied and the experiments carried out, the influence of various factors on the characteristics of the welded joint was also investigated, the necessary conclusions and conclusions were made. |
