Popis: | A building space and its hot water heating system are simulated. Results are compared with field monitored data obtained from a building in use and an excellent agreement between the two is demonstrated. A fuzzy logic controller (FLC) based on if-then control rules is designed and the performance of the FLC is compared with a commonly used proportional, integral plus derivative (PID) controller. It is found that the FLC is more robust and efficient than the PID controller in that the FLC is much less sensitive to changes in system parameters and results in lower system energy consumption. |
