Popis: | Because there is an increasing demand for disability business insurance for middle-aged and the elderly, this study conducts a questionnaire survey to analyze respondents’ perception of 3 dimensions - the basic concept of long-term care, the government’s long-term care policies, and the aging population problem - as well as examines whether their perception is affected by demographic variables. The research results showed that the perceptions of the basic concepts of long-term care and the aging population problem are relatively higher. Moreover, age, occupation and marital status have a significant effect on the perception of basic concepts. Age, educational background and past purchase of disability insurance have a significant effect on the perception of the government’s long-term care policies. Finally, past purchase of disability insurance has a significant effect on the perception of the aging population problem. |
