Popis: | Digital transformation, and the emergence of digital platforms in particular, makes it possible to form and implement new business models of enterprises. At the same time, platforms form trends in the development of economic entities and dictate the conditions of interaction and cooperation to them. Digital platforms do not have production facilities – the main investment areas are the development of tools for marketing analysis of the client, namely: their desires and preferences. The effect of these actions is enhanced by the network features of the business environment. This, in turn, makes traditional business impossible and requires taking into account the impact of global digitalization on the economic relations of both the specific region and the country as a whole. The greatest threats are experienced by small and medium-sized businesses. Within the digital platforms, the problems of trust and control look different. On the one hand, there is a greater reliability and accuracy of processing market and economic information, as a result of which it becomes possible to create new, more powerful ecosystems, such as digital exchanges. On the other hand, the accompanying feature is the openness of business models and access to information for more participants, hence cybersecurity problems. In addition, one of the problems that arise in enterprises as part of digital transformation is the achievement of digital maturity of business participants, otherwise, for example, the loss of suppliers who are not ready to integrate into the digital system may occur. A separate significant problem within digital platforms is their capture by agents of influence, primarily by dominant market participants. The analysis made it possible to identify and summarize the leading methods and tools for managing the development of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as to identify the main risks of functioning of digital platforms. In the article, digital platforms were considered as innovative business models, as a relevant tool for solving problems of observing the strategic interests of various economic entities. |
