Popis: | A general method, given in a companion paper, by which an interacting linear multivariable system may be decoupled into independent subsystems, is applied to a continuous flow stirred-tank reactor. The form of the compensating controllers required for the physical system is obtained. It is then verified numerically that noninteraction is achieved, as postulated, by simulation of the linear model with compensating control on the analog computer. |
