Popis: Rice production is very vital in the Philippines. It is very essential as a need and food supply in the country as well as for the economy. The production of rice can really affect each and every Filipino, thus correct time of harvesting is very essential for rice plant, because if the time of harvesting is incorrect it will surely affect the quality of the rice. Scientific Farming is much needed nowadays in connection with updated gadgets and accessories because the number of rice farmers is decreasing per generation. This research paper focuses in the developing a scientific farming in determining the harvest time of a certain class of a rice plant, NSIC 2010 Rc226. It analyzes the color based on the algorithm such as the color saturation correction and luminosity that has been integrated to cancel the noise in the uncontrolled environment. Values were also generated from a controlled environment which is made from an illustration board with proper lightings. After correlating the values generated, a GUI was completed in order to test the accuracy of the data.
