Popis:	Rare-earth doped cadmium fluoride (CdF2:Ln3+) has been recognized as a promising electroluminescent (E.L.) material for several years (1) because of its large transparency (0.2 µm < λ < 12 µm) and its ability to be converted to a semi-conducting state (ρ ~ 1Ω cm is readily available). This note is devoted to results obtained on CdF2:Ln3+ crystals and their E.L.
