Popis:	In her commentary the author makes a brief review of the first regulatory standards for the welfare of pigs at farms, and then she analyzes the minimum standards that shall be currently applied to protect these animals. These standards, established by a Royal Decree of 2002 which was amended in 2012, refer to issues such as the minimum place that must have every animal, the training that shall be given to staff, or the imports of these animals from other countries, among others.
