Popis:	The effect of a sinusoidal signal of large amplitude on the characteristic of a Langmuir probe is studied. The average values of the current collected by the probe are calculated and measured. Results are in agreement with the theory in a region near the floating potential and this allows for the determination of electron temperature, plasma density and plasma potential.
