Popis: | The adsorption isotherms of N 2 and Ar at 77 and 90 K on a pyrolytic graphite produced by Union Carbide (U.S.A.) were studied. All the isotherms belong to type II of the IUPAC classification and both at 77 and 90 K neither the N 2 nor the Ar isotherms present a crossing point. The specific surface area is calculated and compared with that of the other graphites. Using the desorption isotherm of N 2 at 77 K, porosity was studied, completing this analysis with mercury porosimetry. |
