Popis: | A cellular automaton, with two states per site and with a probabilistic behaviour for the transition, is studied. With the selected rule the automaton has two absorbing phases. A reanimation factor ϵ is introduced along with a factor p related to the probability of the transition. Results of a mean-field approximation are compared with numerical simulations of the automata showing the existence of collective behaviour for some values of p and ϵ. |
