Popis: | Biofeedback is a therapy that has more than 50 years of history. However, by combining with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies, biofeedback is becoming more and more widely used for different clinical conditions. VR and AR provide a new way to deliver the biofeedback signals, by which is more effective. In this article, we reviewed the works of literature on the development of VR and AR technologies and the field of VR/AR biofeedback. We also pointed out its problem nowadays was not only the lack of sufficient research results, but also the low acceptance of VR/AR among elderly people and the technological bottlenecks of the head-mounted displays. |
