Popis: Internet gaming is growing enormously in the modern century. Children and adolescents represent a large proportion of internet gaming users. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) individuals have shown to have a high interest in screen-based activities (Mazurek & Engelhardt, 2013). A need for high-quality epidemiological studies is needed for IGD in ASD (Murray et al., 2021). Relatively little research on the roles of ASD has been conducted (King & Delfabbro, 2019). Up to my knowledge, there is a lack of clinical autistic samples in the internet gaming research field. In light of no research in the treatment for autistic children and adolescents who are at risk of IGD worldwide, it is imperative to investigate the possible intervention for frontline professionals in addressing the IGD among ASD individuals.
