Occupational structures in urban squatter settlements of the Republic of Sudan ? The examples of Hay Maio, Khartoum and Village 17, New Halfa

Popis:	The significance is outlined of the diffrrent forms of self-engaged occupations and occasional jobs for gainful employment of migrants to the metrolis or to a provincial city (New Halfa) of the Republic of Sudan. Permanent job opportunities are,as expected, better for educated migrants no matter how long they stay. Reason to return is not necessarily a failure in finding a satisfactory job, but rather rests in personal and family ties which cause the migrants to return home.
