Popis:	The typing of strains of Eberthella typhosa in the V form by means of type II bacteriophage preparations was initiated as a routine practice in the laboratories of the Georgia State Department of Public Health in September 1941.* The method employed was introduced by Craigie and Yen in 19381 and was later simplified by Craigie.2 In the simplified schema Craigie2 has separated the V forms of E. typhosa into 3 groups depending on their reactions with bacteriophage
