Popis: | The current use of computer hardware and design software has in one sense increased the creative options available to design communicators, but in doing so the technology has limited the inscription characteristics employed because of the reliance on digital hardware and software. The development of these new tools produced a new visual grammar derived from the inscriptions left on the printed page. This paper explores the influence of technology in the production of these inscription characteristics. It also explores the evolution process of these related technologies. |
