Popis: Представлены результаты исследования флоры на территории бассейна р. Кубена (в пределах Верховажского, Вожегодского, Сокольского, Сямженского, Усть-Кубинского и Харовского районов Вологодской области) в рамках ведения региональной Красной книги. Полевые изыскания 2001–2022 гг. позволили выявить 528 новых локалитетов 74 охраняемых и 68 редких видов сосудистых растений. Обнаружены популяции 6 видов растений Красной книги Российской Федерации (Calypso bulbosa, Cypripedium calceolus, Cypripedium guttatum, Dactylorhiza baltica, D. traunsteineri, Epipogium aphyllum). Наибольшее количество обнаруженных охраняемых видов (57) имело низкие категории статусов редкости и уязвимости (3/NT, 3/LC, 4/DD). Виды 1/CR, 1/EN, 2/EN, 2/VU ожидаемо отмечались реже (17 видов из 26 локалитетов). Более 40% охраняемых видов нуждаются в незамедлительном принятии мер для их сохранения (11 видов) или требуют реализации специальных природоохранных мер (21). Всего лишь треть обнаруженных в пределах бассейна р. Кубена редких и охраняемых видов была зафиксирована в границах действующих особо охраняемых природных террито-рий.
