Popis:	Lepechinia caulescens (Ortega) Epling (Lamiaceae) is reported as a new host plant for the bruchine Stator dissimilis Johnson & Kingsolver. Stator dissimilis and its host seeds are discussed and illustrated; also some ecological comparisons are made with other species in the genus Stator. Oviposition guilds in the genus Stator are briefly discussed.
