Popis: | We demonstrate the beneficial effect of femtosecond bursts for energy concentration during volume processing of transparent material. By single pulse energy redistribution in burst sub-pulses, nonlinear effects can be significantly reduced. A 25 ns time delay between sub-pulses leads to temperature high enough to induce in-volume crack. These cracks can be controlled to obtain high speed and high quality glass cutting. |
