Popis:	The rheological characteristics of Ca(OH)2 suspensions are investigated in order to check the “elastic floc” model for energy dissipation during flow. It is found that the energy, required to overcome the viscous drag experienced by particles moving within flocs, can account for the total energy dissipation.
