Popis: | The crystal structure of dihydrate salt between cadmium tetrachloride and ciprofloxacin (L), [CdCl4](HL)2•2H2O (I), L CIP C17H18FN3O3, was determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction method. The title compound was prepared by mixing of CdCl2 water solution and L•HCl in molar ratio 1:2 and evaporation of mother solution in the room temperature. Crystal structure of I is built from the [CdCl4]2− tetrahedron, two single charged (HL)+ cations and two water molecules. Ciprofloxacin is protonated on the cyclic N(3) atom of the piperazine сycle. The Hirshfeld surface analysis indicates that the most important contributions to the crystal packing are from H···H (about 35%) and H···O/O···H (around 24%) interactions . |
