Popis: Personal health record systems (PHRs) allow patients to access their own PHR. However, PHRs are full of medical terminology, such as disease and symptom names, etc. Patients need readily understandable and useful health knowledge in addition to their records in order to improve their self-care ability. This chapter defines a health knowledge-sharing system whereby users not only can maintain and import their PHR, but can also collate useful health web resources that are related to their personal illnesses. Furthermore, they can share the collated web resources with any user with the same illness and vice versa. This chapter deals with patients’ record-monitoring and smart healthcare data-sharing. Especially with today’s wide range of innovative medical automation systems, medical applications such as picture archiving and communication systems and the hospital information system, medical electronic imaging, electronic medical records and other applications have brought a very large amount of data and storage requirements, resulting in information technology load pressure and the need for urgent changes to storage infrastructure and architecture. Some issues must be considered in order to use cloud computing to quickly integrate medical big data into a database for easy analyzing, searching, and filtering of big data to obtain valuable information.
