Popis:	SummaryHealth care policies are subject to scientific and economic constraints. It is necessary to develop research and evaluation policies, particularly in mental health services. In the area of drug treatment, new methodologies in phase II studies, and a true research program of phase IV, are needed. Furthermore, evaluation of practices needs new scientific programs. This last point is also relevant for psychotherapies. Comparative studies about criteria of indications must be developed.
