Popis: | In this paper the formation is studied of a beam of runaway electrons in the field of a gas discharge. It is shown that the interaction of the beam with the plasma leads to the production of intense coherent electromagnetic oscillations with frequencies close to the plasma frequency. The power of this radiation is considerably higher than the thermal noise power. |
