Video analysis is an informatics tool that could offer a solution to complex constrains mainly regarding with time, cost or safety that are encountered when experimental researches are included in the University Physics teaching. Regardless video analysis is a powerful tool to teach mechanical and optical topics, its use requires more diffusion principally in Didactics of Physics. In the current article, a methodology to design, execution and evaluation of experimental activities assisted by video analysis during University Physics teaching is proposed. In addition, the proposed methodology is exemplified, to solve an activity, which demands the measurement of damped coefficient of a mass-spring system. Based on previous knowledge, the students independently learn a new content at the end of an experimental research. |
